Accolades PR’s Cynthia Baker Spoke at Bosphorus CRMist Summit

Cynthia Baker, the president and founder of Accolades PR, spoke in April at the Bosphorus CRMist Summit in Istanbul, Turkey. Cynthia was invited by conference organizers to speak on “CRM in a New Media World… inbound marketing and social CRM.”
The summit, which was presented by the Turkish company Bosphorus Training & Consulting, focused on sharing and discussing ideas to keep companies up to date on the newest and best practices in business, which includes tools like social CRM.
The conference included a full slate of CRM experts from the world. Other speakers from the U.S. included Dr. Robert Shaw on “How to Maximize Return on Ideas from CRM Investments and Experiments,” Vicki Flaugher on “Using Social Media and Social CRM for Communication Center Success” and Shel Horowitz on “Turning Customers Into Marketers: How to Throw Away the Script and Create Powerful Positive Experiences.”
Cynthia’s address included the following remarks: “In today’s world where customers trust peers and not advertising, a company needs to rethink their approach to marketing and customer relations management. If a business is to thrive today, it needs to develop a systematic approach to marketing online ‘where your brand is as good as your Google Search results.’”
The CRMist Summit spanned April 20-21 at the Elite World Hotel in Istanbul.
